The awards coincided with the airline’s end-of-year staff celebration, marking a moment of appreciation and reflection on the people who have helped shape the national carrier.
Certificates, commemorative trophies and customary cash awards were presented to each honouree in recognition of their commitment and contribution to the airline’s sustained growth and operational excellence. The collective milestone represents decades of dedication across multiple departments and roles, underscoring the vital role long-serving employees play in the airline’s ongoing success.
This year’s longest-serving employees — each marking 35 years of continuous service — are:
- Paul Antoine
- Sheila Banane
- Georges Desaubin
- Damien Sanguillon
- Suzanne Asba

Speaking after the ceremony, Air Seychelles Chief Executive Officer, Sandy Benoiton, paid tribute to the award recipients and the broader workforce. “Your dedication over the years has been the foundation of our success,” Benoiton said. “I thank you sincerely for your loyalty and encourage every member of our team to continue building careers with the National Airline — together we will keep reaching new heights.”
